[vlc] DXR3 support in VLC

Hello all:

I have seen the subject of dxr3 support mentioned several time in last couple of
years, as well as seen information regarding card this saying the support was being
developed in vlc.  Is there any status on this?

I would like to use a DXR3/VLC combination in a black box video unit. The main
reason for DXR3 is that it does proper Vsync for interlaced video sources when using
the TV out capabilities of the card.

I suppose I could also try to use xine or mplayer, since they have DXR support
already, however neither of those projects seem to be able to play VLS streams properly.

Thanks in advance for any information anyone can provide.
