[vlc] Remote control with IRAssistant

Hi,

I try to use vlc together with IRAssistant, on Windows 2000.
With IRAssistant I control various other applications successfully, so do not want to change to WinLIRC.

I am now using vlc --intf rc and send text messages to the window, generated by IRAssistant.

However one problem: the text window stays on the foreground, even if I use full screen mode.
How can I change this?

Is there a possibility like in Winamp, where windows messages can be sent to the application?
