No, ip_forward should be off by default of course. My default routing
tables are :
Kernel IP routing table
Destination Gateway Genmask Flags Metric Ref Use Iface
138.195.152.128 0.0.0.0 255.255.255.128 U 0 0 0 eth0
0.0.0.0 138.195.152.129 0.0.0.0 UG 0 0 0 eth0
And with this routing tables and if_forward=0, I can multicast a stream
to others machines. You say that you can't do so on your RedHat 8.0 ?
