[vlc] Sound Problem

Hi "videolaners"


I have a problem , could you help me please?
I had installed VLC 0.4.6 on my Suse Linux 7.0. Then I intalled Suse Linux
7.2 and VLC 0.5.0.
I can´t play any sound. I installed alsa, esd and arts libraries but when I
make ./configure an error on alsa lib ocurr. "alsa devel lib can´t be found"
or something of the sort!!
I compiled vlc 0.5.0 without alsa module. But when i try to play sound on it
linux oss (sound) crash. The error say "/dev/dsp is busy"

Any idea?
