[vlc] vlc dies during playback from ReplayTV

[Fuchs, Ira]

When attempting to PLAY SHOW from a remote REPLAYTV using DVArchive, VLC 
(v0.5.2) consistently crashes. It first brings up its video window,
sometimes 
plays a few frames and some audio, and then dies. 

Application exception occurred:
App: (pid=2360)
When: 3/24/2003 @ 09:49:15.422
Exception number: c0000005 (access violation)
