[vlc] Viewing Streamed Video from a 'Dreambox'

Hi,
It is possible to use VLC client (I'm running VLC on MacOS X) to view 
the streamed video from a Dreambox sat receiver running linux and 
connected to my powerbook via ethernet?
On the dreambox I can set the IP number and the port (default 4000) of 
the ngrab server to which stream the video in unicast mode.
If that is possible,  what settings and URL should be used in opening 
the stream on VLC for MacOS X?
