Hello,

I use vlc to encode under linux with this command line :

vlc --advanced
v4l:/dev/video0:norm=ntsc:size=320x240:channel=2:adev=/dev/dsp:audio=0:samplerate=32000:mono
--sout
'#transcode{vcodec=mp4v,hq,vb=500,vt=3000,keyint=30,acodec=mpga,audio=0,ab=64}:std{access=udp,mux=ts,url=224.1.2.3}'
--ttl 12

We notice a change which was not exist under vlc 0.5.3. when you stop the
server, all payers stops, but when you restart the server, players restart
even under windows or linux in 0.5.3. In 0.6.0 test1, you must press stop
button and play button once again to restart playing the stream. This is
not very useful...

Is there any solution to makes it working correctly ?

There is also an another problem, the option vt (video bitrate tolerance in
bit/s) seems not working even in MPEG4 or MPEG1.

Bye.
