Dear friends,
VLC 0.6.0-test2 has been made available.
Mainly bug fixes have been included since 0.6.0-test1 as well as a few
enhancements in the Mac OS X, BeOS and wxWindows interface and a few other
features. The stream output now does SAP announcements, the x11 and xvideo
video outputs should have basic support for Xinerama and a new decoder
plugin is available on OS X that uses the quicktime libraries.
As a reminder, new features for 0.6.0 include the new stream output &
transcoding capabilities, SVQ3 support in ffmpeg, wxWindows becoming the
default intferface under Win32, localization under BeOS, v4l input under
Linux, audio bug fix under OS X, CD audio support, Improved skins support
on win32, the new http remote control interface, etc...
Please test and report any problems.
If everything goes well we should freeze the strings for translation
sometimes during next week, do a quick test3 when they are ready and
finally release :)
You can find the test tarball here:
http://www.videolan.org/pub/testing/vlc-0.6.0-test2/
and the contrib packages here:

You will also find binary packages for Win32. BeOS and Mac OS X ones should
follow as well.
For the VLC team,
