VLC does not keep statistics of the quality of the stream.
There is no documentation of the messages that vlc gives. they start
with what component they are from and that's about it.
Mostly you shouldn't care about the messages as long as everything is
working. when they are not, you can usually find a reason there, but
you'll probably need to know a bit about video and about vlc.
And can people please use the mailinglist?
