[vlc] Re: only remote control interface works

I'm by no means an expert on the matter, but I'll give it a shot.
Before you compilie vlc, you have to use "configure" to generate the
make files. You can specify lots of options when you run configure. To
see the options:
# ./configure --help
I think you can specify different interfaces with these options. Enable
them, see if ./configure and ./make work properly. I'm not sure what
vlc comes with, so you may need to download more sources depending on
the options you select.
