[vlc] Re: EOF problem

About the  mpeg file, it looks  like an empty or  highly corrupted file?
Does any other program manage do read it ?

About the audio issue  : you must have either the esd  or the arts sound
server enabled. You can either disable it or compile vlc with esd / arts
support.
