I have a few samples at http://mru.ath.cx/~mru/samples/h264.  I can't
remember where I got them from, though.

All players on Linux use libavcodec/ffmpeg AFAIK.  On mswindows there
are several H.264 decoders around, e.g. from
http://www.moonlight.co.il and http://www.mainconcept.com.
