[vlc] MMS streams

Hello,

I understand that Videolan can communicate with a windows media server 
(version 4) and playback MMS streams. Can the VLC client  detect the 
bitrate of the wmv / asf file a priori, which part of the VLC code provides 
the support for MMS protocol.
