Moin,

I want to stream a file for all of my Linux-Users as well as for the Windows
users. While the Linux Users with xine can receive the stream, I have no idea
how to send it to the Windows Users with theire Microsoft Windows Media
Player.

vlc -vvv --loop /export/video/Die_Welt-Sehen.mpg --sout
'#standard{access=http,mux=ts,url=turnip.kyb.local:8081}'

For Windows I tried

$ vlc -vvv /export/video/Die_Welt-Sehen.mpg --sout
'#standard{access=udp,mux=ts,url=moss.ad.kyb.local,sap,name="TestStream"}'

but that's not working. And instead of unicast I need a multicast stream. I'm
not familiar with Windows, so I'm a little bit helpless with this. I wonder:
how to setup the stream, and howto open this stream with the media layer?

Thanks
