[vlc] Question about future features

are you planning to add a media library database? I think that it would 
make VLC a much more robust application to be able to track your media 
files like XVID and Ogg and MP3 and FLAC etc. it could be a drop in 
replacement for so many applications on so many platforms then.. WMP, 
iTunes, WinAMP. (what ever the Gnome media library project is), etc. 
after that you could add a plug-in system that would allow users to 
encode audio files right in VLC via their favorite encoder (LAME, 
OggEnc, etc).
