Not sure - my streams do not require much sync at all, but I can see
where you'd want it in some applications.

I guess a lot of the sync issues are to do with buffering on the
client side. Theoretically the unicast and multicast UDP should
have almost zero latency between them, as the only real difference
is in the ip addressing. So perhaps they have different buffer settings
on the clients.
