[vlc] Too frequent resampling - bug in audio system?

Hi all,

the VLC players 0.7.0 and 0.6.x seem to be doing too much resampling.
Regardless of the stream source (DVB - TV or radio channel, PVR250)
the VLC player complains at regular intervals (approx. every 4.5 minutes)
about the buffer beeing >40 msec in advance - see below.

However, when in Preferences the "Audio output frequency" is set manually
to 48008 Hz, this problem goes away completely. I've tested this on several
machines to eliminate possible HW problem and all give the same results.

I suspect a bug somewhere in the VLC audio system, since the error is
constant (approx. 166 ppm) and seems to be HW or stream source independent.

Thanks in advance for your help,

		M.
