Small confusion here.   Apparently, the 0.7.0 did not req. libxml2 ?
I'll pursue your suggestion.  Looks like I got over my head on this one.

I downloaded libmatroska0.6.3-1 from vlc-0.7.1-test/rh9-fc1/new
Not correct ?

I possibly must be more concise with configure ?
