[vlc] How can I use VLC in my Application? (windows)

In my project,i need a media client to play the http video stream .
at first i try to use WMP SDK,but it seem WMP download the whole http 
file,then play.
so i try with VLC,which run perfectly! so good! almost in realtime,it play 
the stream not the http downloaded file.

so,i want to use VLC in my project,is there any methold(like DLL,ActiveX,or 
Classes...anymethod) to load the VLC in my application?
