[vlc] VLC video conferencing

Hi,

I'm about to design/implement a large scale virtual classroom 
infrastructure.
many (100+) conferences should be esablished and recorded simultaniously.
all over fast LAN (which will also be designed)

I'm curious to know if VLC could be used, wheather alone or integrate with 
other software (GnomeMeeting) to provide a reliable and scalable solution.
