[vlc] SuSE 8.0 + LG DVD-ROM DRD8160B + VLC 0.7.1 + Athlon 1 GB

Hi,

on my system, VLC can only read the first DVD after 
reboot (and even this fails with a probability of
about 50%). Data DVD's cause no problems. 
Is there a known bug in the reader software?
