[vlc] wxvlc-0.7.1 localization problem

Hi all,

I just compiled vlc-0.7.1, and have a dummy problem :
my localization (fr_FR.utf8 at euro) makes me lose the settings and video menus of
the GUI interface after running "make install".
It looks like wxwindows refuses to display localized items containing french
accents. Is it a font related issue? How can i solve it?
