Hi!
After some trouble I got the ivtv drivers installed on Red Hat 9 (it is the
latest available on their homepage). But now I have two problems:
1. When I try to run vlc and use one of them as source, I get the following
logs for video0 and video1 devices and v4l errors in it.

2. Second problem is somewhat the same as with video0 device. When I use
test_ioctl (utilities that came with the ivtv) I get I/O error when trying
two capture directly to file from video0 device. But capturing with video1
device works. Is it ivtv drivers thing or something else?
Or do I somehow have to recompile v4l? If so then how? I am new to linux.

Has anyone successfully used Hauppage, Red Hat 9 and ivtv together? I would
really appreciate somekind of step-by-step instructions.

I installed things in following order: 1. vlc 2. ivtv drivers 3. ivtv utils

P.S. when compiling ivtv I copied videodev2.h to driver folder
The instructions were in this FAQ
