Sorry, but "standard Windows Media Player" is an oxymoron.  If you're 
streaming using standard protocols (e.g., HTTP or RTP/RTSP) and codecs, 
then forget about "Windows Media Player".  Instead, your clients should use 
standards-based media players - e.g., QuickTime Player, RealPlayer (sort 
of), MPlayer, or, of course, VLC itself.
