I have some troubles too.
my Norton Personal Firewall reports :
  
Trojan attempt detected from address 192.168.82.252 by rule "Default Block Portal of Doom Trojan horse".

when I launch vlc.exe - I think announcement packets were treated as
Trojan attempt
