[vlc] packet analyses between vls streaming and vlc receiving

can i ask one simple question that
is how can we measure the packet loss and packet duplication when
streaming happen in the meantime i do mobility handover between different
essid(in wireless envinronment)

do i need tcpdump or ethereal? can u give me some advice, i don't have any
idea about this
