[vlc] streaming query

Hi

 

I have installed vlc on my network host pc and on a laptop which has a
wireless link to the host. I am able to stream from the host to the laptop
but the picture flickers on and off at a fixed rate. Can you tell me if this
is something that I can fix. My os is xp. There is no problem with the audio
stream. I am accessing the host by opening the file which is being recorded
to the hard drive of the host via wintv 2000.
