[vlc] DVD to Mpeg-2 TS

First of all, I would like to thank you for your awesome efforts and work in the Videolan and VLC player.

 

I have a little problem that I want to share with you if you don’t mind, simply we have a huge video library on DVD’s and we want to share parts of it with a tv station, the TV station use mpeg-2 servers that can accept only files encoded in mpeg-2 transport stream(TS).

 

So your software VLC would be a great help for a us as it can transcode DVD into  mpeg-2-TS format but the problem is VLC always can’t complete the transcoding correctly, for example if the file duration is 15 minutes only 1 minute or less is converted!.  I don’t know why this happen, i am using ver 8.1.

 

I would be thankful if you could help me with that. And if not could you provide me with a way to convert DVD files .vob to  mpeg-2 TS format.
