[vlc] DVD and --start-time

I want to do something like this:

vlc --dvd (blah) --start-time 215 --end-time 245  --sout (blah)

But, it always starts from the beginning.  Is there a way to have VLC 
start and end at a particular spot on a DVD (and not just start at a 
particular chapter)?
