Thank you for your reply. Perhaps you consider doing multicasting on both servers on one IP as unneccessary, and neither do I. But if without a precontract, more than one vlc servers for one multicast address want to send streams to the clients, I think there will be confliction.

Are there any reasons to do multicasting on both servers on one IP? I dont
see the advantage :)
