Hi VLC team,

I noticed that you all may be going the way of the dodo, and I just wanted
to say thanks for all the work you've done.  VLC (both the Windows version
and the OS X version) has saved me time after time when certain unnamed
players from big companies refuse to cooperate.  I would be very sad to see
you all have to pack up.

I'm an American, so I don't know if there's much I can do to help the
campaign against the patent laws.  Know that I am in full support of you
all.
