[vlc] VLC http interface

Hello,

 

Can someone please tell me how to use the http interface?  I have no
problems getting the interface running under both Windows and OS X.  But
it doesn't show any media files.  And when I try to add an MRL, he page
just hangs.  Then if I refresh, it's back to the standard empty
playlist.  I have tried everything I can think of and I can't figure it
out.  I have looked over the few lines of documentation about the http
interface and it provides no help.
