[vlc] UDP to TCP auto switch

Hi.

On various platforms (Linux, Windows and Macs) on some machines
I seem to have problem with auto swithing from RTSP UDP based
streaming to RTSP TCP based streaming when behind a firewall
or a NAT box.

Server is DSS  5.0.1.1 and VLC is 0.8.2.

Can it be a left over config settings from VLC 0.8.1 ?

I also see it on machines without old config data from
previous VLC-versiosn though that information is second
hand.

Is there a way to enforce TCP based RTSP-streaming ?
It existed in VLC 0.8.1, but seemed to vanish in 0.8.2
with this new auto switch over scheme.
