[vlc] Stream with directshow:

       Hi guys,
  I am using windows xp sp2
   
  I am trying to stream with DirectShow I have not been able to do it I get all kind of errors like
  main warning Late picture skipped
  Main warning Out range
  Dshow can't open video
  Dshow error can't use device: Plextor ConvertX TV402U
  Dshow error couldn't bind moniker to filter device
   
  those are some of the errors I get.
   
   
  If any one can help me please
