I looked into it some motnhs ago, trying to trick gibalou into implementing
it hehe, there is an opensource implementation that has precisely what i was
talking about, but its for windows and the guy who implemented the vlc
de-interlacing routines, didnt feel like looking at it back then, so nothing
happend. Let me see if I can remember the name....... Ohhh ya dscaler
implements something along these lines, or atleast deinterlacing superior to
