We would be happy to have a downloads mirror in Germany.

I don't have a clue about monthly traffic on the mirrors. 
Our main ftp server (VIA) currently serves 1.4 TB per week (which is
mainly videolan related stuff - downloads). I doubt that the other
mirrors handle as much traffic.

Feel free to ask any other questions you might have.
