[vlc] VLC Elapsed Time\Total Time missing for Transport Streams

I've noticed that VLC will display the elapsed time\total time of an MPEG-1
System Stream file being played.
The display however does not work when playing MPEG-2 Transport Stream
files.
Is there a bug fix for this? Will it be implemented in the future?
