In that cas, there is no error... VLC is in included in sid as well
as in sarge . What this page means is that we don't provide any newer
package for testing than the ones that are already provided by debian.
The reason for that is that, as versions of libraries, name of packages,
etc tend to change quite often in this version of the distribution, it
would force us to repackage everything every few days (yes, VLC has a lot
of dependencies).

This was mostly important until a few months ago, when there was only a
very old version of VLC in sarge. This isn't the case anymore (Sarge
currently includes 0.8.1).
