[vlc] Great Player,

A brilliant piece of work.  Free and open source.  Pat on the back for
all the developers.  First player i found that could easily adjust
xvid brightness/contrast.  As my screen is frustratingly too dark. 
Does not have the best GUI but works well, relatively low CPU usage
(PIII).
