I cannot run vlc with cron.
Is it possible?
I have vlc 0.7.0 on Debian woody.
When I try in crontab:
*/1 * * * * root /usr/bin/vlc -v /video/test_ch1.mpg
--noosd --sout udp://239.255.1.31 --ttl 12
1>/venoa/vlc.debug 2>&1
vlc.debug has next content:

--noosd --sout udp://239.255.1.31 --ttl 12
1>/venoa/vlc.debug 2>1
vlc.debug is created, but no content (empty).
In both cases vlc is not running.
Please advice.
Best regards,
Vlad
