[vlc] nero express overtaken

dear sirs , your vlc media player has somehow
overtaken my media express and now it doesn't work , 
everytime i want to use the nero to copy a vcd the vlc
stops nero express from loading and vlc starts playing
the vcd on it's screen . i NEVER EVEN DOWNED LOADED
the videolan program ! in came into my computer and
took over the nero , also i can't find the file
location to remove it , where is it please and how do
i remove it ? regards , john
