[vlc] no control

I do like the VLC player,except for one feature or lack thereof.It has no
brightness control.It is very difficult to see a movie that is too dark. It
did ,however , keep a movie from jumping around on me where the other three
players I have do not,but if I cannot see the movie,I might as well let it
jump around.Can't you include a brightness control on an update?
