[vlc] Streaming Video

Hello, I am using your VLC program to stream videos to a cable box. It's running through all of the cable stuff like qam gateways and all. THe first time I tried hte console for the gateway threw up many errors. After spending some time withthe gateway and changing the output module for the VLC streaming program I managed to get the file to stream without errors, except when you tune to the channel on the cable box you get no video or audio (but the channel is present) I'm wondering if I need to change the settings so the file transmits properly or whether it's something else. Just in case you might have heard of similiar issues we're using a Cisco uMG 9820 Qam gateway. I hope to hear back from you soon. Thank you for your time.
