[vlc] Ripping a dvd's audio files to wav or mp3 files

Good morning Video Lan,
 
I am trying to find software that can rip a dvd's audio to a wav or mp3
file.
 
I saw your software could do it. I installed it, and struggling to do
anything, I don't know where to start.
 
Can you please give my any advice in doing so
