[vlc] pb with tv card and fedora core 3

Hi all,

I'm trying to watch tv with vlc on my Fedora core 3;
I've a Hauppage WinTV-250-PVR card.
I've done what is described in the "Streaming How To" tutorial af vlc, but I 
keep on having the same error : 

" ps demuxer warning: garbage at input"

I've done : 

*vlc -vvv pvr:/dev/video0:norm=secam:size=720x576:frequency=576250:
bitrate=3000000:maxbitrate=4000000 --sout udp:localhost
*
and opened a vlc client that listen on udp. I get nothing. but the error above.

Could someone help me please ....
