Well, aren't these parametters set using spin controls in the gui
(asking, I don't have a VLC with dvb access compiled here).

There is a very annoying bug in wxwidgets 2.6 : values you enter un spin
controls with the keyboard, without using the arrows, get ignored...
Could you retry modifying the values with the arrows (even only by one
unit) before adding the item ?
