[vlc] vlc crashes after a few days...

Hello,

We are using vlc for streaming and playing streams.
The streams are encoded in H264 format.The operating system is Mandriva Linux(2.6.12).
But when we use it for a few days, the screen starts to work slowly. Is this a known bug?
What can we do for this problem?
