[vlc] vlc with vlm

Hi..
I have build tv streaming with vlc and I hear that VLM can manage the tv
program (I have read from forum
http://forum.videolan.org/viewtopic.php?t=21349).
At now I use vlc 8.2, is that version support vlm?, please give a
explanation about using VLM (I have read the tutorial, but I still not
understand)
