[vlc] wrong width size in received video stream

A VLC (0.8.5 on WinXP) sends a video stream (multicast IPv6) with SAPs.

If a VLC (0.8.5 on MacOSX 10.4.x) joins the SAP, the video is displayed 
  but stretched with a "very very long width" (more than 20-30 times the 
correct one)!

Does anyone how to correct the problem?

I had the same problem, in the past, between different versions of VLC, 
and different Windows OS: Win2K (receiver) and WinXP (sender).

Does anyone how to resolve the problem?
