[vlc] VLC under Windows 98 SE Audio Problem

Dear Friends,
I am using VLC 0.8.4 under Windows 98 Second Edition. If i play any movie or
song in VLC player, video is perfect but audio is much noisy. If i play the
same movie or song with some other players like Windows Media Player, Real
Player and Winamp, the Audio is clear.

I have C-Media Sound Card on My PC. pls help me.
